S-5 Civil Affairs

The S-5 Civil Affairs Staff Section is the public face of the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Public videos, pictures, and screenshots are produced by S-5 Combat Cameramen and Civil Affairs Specialists. By no means a light task, Civil Affairs is responsible for ensuring the Regiment's public image and presence within the community is positive and displays the professionalism and efficiency expected of the unit's members. Besides acting as the public face of the unit, S-5 is also tasked with maintaining the unit's record of operations including cataloguing operation recordings and unit events.

S-5 Civil Affairs

Mission

S-5 Civil Affairs is responsible for taking screenshots in-game, making promotional media, and logging/tracking content creators within the battalion. Rangers that create content outside of S-5 are expected to ensure that their work is logged by S-5 and stored in the repository. S-5 acts as unit historians and ensures that the living, breathing community is shown to the outside in its brightest appearance. S-5 works hand-in-hand with S-1 Recruitment to ensure that a steady flow of interested and eager applicants is enthused by the promotional material and that the atmosphere of the unit is opened to the wider community to ensure retention and interest remain high.
